I am back taking art classes with Diana Toma this year at some art centers in Fulton and Cobb county Georgia. I was taking classes years ago when I was living and working in the Atlanta area. It helped me to spend more time during the week to set a side at least one day of the week to paint for a couple of hours with others in a painting community. I love seeing another artist paint, especially Diana when she paints at the beginning of the class as a demonstration of a certain technique or style of painting in this medium. This experience of watching her paint is very meditating and it helps me be in the moment at that time and space….This process of being in the class as helped me get some more inspiration and to also learn new techniques to help my paintings.
